KustomScapes and Pools is a fast-paced pool and outdoor construction company seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Manager to oversee our construction department. The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership and communication skills and a thorough understanding of construction, project management, and safety compliance.

Duties

  • Supervise and oversee all phases of multiple projects concurrently.
  • Create and coordinate the schedules of construction crews, staff, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor adherence to safety standards.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering materials from various vendors.
  • Implement policies and procedures that enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for staff, offering feedback and guidance for professional development.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among clients, subcontractors, and internal personnel.
  • Provide support to clients in their design choices and product selections.
  • Address and resolve issues that may arise during project execution and communication with clients.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress to management, staff, and clients.
  • Communicate effectively with potential and current clients regarding construction projects and progress.
  • Creates and reviews requests for information, requests for proposal, and change orders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • Strong grasp of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in the construction industry; experience with pools is a plus.
  • Demonstrates ability to lead and manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks.
  • Technically adept with a strong ability to learn and implement new software and systems.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (including Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Calendar).

    • This position necessitates a proactive leadership approach, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results for our clients.

  • Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
