Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Quality Engineer job in Farmington, CT. In this role, you will support and improve internal manufacturing processes by leading quality assurance initiatives, facilitating root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement efforts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, operations, and supplier management, and serve as a key contributor to both new product development and sustaining engineering activities. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with experience in ISO 9001 systems, quality tools like APQP, FMEA, PPAP, and a hands-on approach to improving product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Quality Engineer Job responsibilities :

• Solve complex product and process quality issues and lead cross-functional problem-solving
• Represent the voice of the customer in new product development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and maintain quality documentation including control plans, PFMEA, SOPs, and process maps
• Lead or support internal and supplier corrective actions and audits
• Interface with design, operations, customer support, and suppliers to drive quality improvements
