Senior Dredge Operator

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Sr Dredge Operator at our Columbia, MS office on early day shift with working knowledge of heavy equipment operating in a quarry.

Day to Day :

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Help in the production of natural aggregates
• Operate at least 3 pieces of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.), hydraulic pumps, power winches
• Operate equipment in quarry or production
• Must have excavator and dozer experience
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
• Ability to work alone on dredge for long periods of time
• Comply with industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
• Be able to work on dredge alone for long periods of time

About You :

Working Conditions : Some jobs could work under harsh conditions including dirty environment, air contamination, intense noise, and restricted movement. May require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry and dusty.
