A company is looking for an Eligibility Specialist to manage and maintain accurate eligibility and enrollment records for health and welfare benefit plans.
Key Responsibilities :
Process eligibility data including new enrollments, changes, terminations, and COBRA events
Review and reconcile eligibility files from employers and payroll systems
Respond to eligibility-related inquiries from plan participants and client HR teams
Required Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
1-3 years of experience in benefits administration or eligibility processing
Experience in a third-party administrator (TPA) setting is highly desirable
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Familiarity with eligibility systems and EDI file formats preferred
