Manager - Community and Annual Giving
Responsible for overseeing and managing the institution's annual giving and community fundraising programs. This role supervises a team dedicated to annual and community giving efforts, develops strategies to enhance corporate partnerships, manages annual fundraising campaigns and events, and ensures compliance with financial and donor management policies. The Manager plays a critical role in fostering community engagement and securing vital resources to support the institution's mission.
Education and Experience Required :
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years' experience in fundraising, community engagement or annual giving program management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Outstanding organizational and time management skills. Ability to write clear, grammatically correct, structured, articulate persuasive letters; Commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to independently drive projects with multiple stakeholders. Computer skills including ability to manage and query data in development related database. Ability to learn appropriate levels of information about a broad range of health disciplines and interdisciplinary areas. Ability to think critically. Ability to maintain confidentiality on behalf of philanthropic donors and medical center colleagues. Understanding of major issues and trends in philanthropy. Understanding of online giving, internet communication and social media and its applicability to fundraising. Knowledge of fundraising strategies, direct mail, online giving, and events, management and development of annual giving programs.

Requires frequent working hours significantly beyond regularly scheduled hours, frequent travelling to offsite locations, occasional activities subject to significant volume changes of a seasonal / clinical nature, constant work produced subject to precise measures of quantity and quality, occasional bending, occasional lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, frequent driving, occasional pushing / pulling, occasional reaching, frequent sitting, frequent standing, and frequent walking.
