We are seeking aBoard-Certified Neurology Physician with subspecialty expertise in dementia, cognitiveneurology, or behavioral neurology to provide remote diagnostic assessments andcollaborate with interdisciplinary teams in supporting care for older adults withneurocognitive disorders. This part-time, contract role is ideal for aphysician passionate about advancing innovative, high-quality care for agingadults.
Locations : Remote (Texas license required), Florida (license required) and Washington (license required)
Schedule : Part-time, 5-10 hours / week
Compensation : Competitive hourly rate, Contractor (1099)
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct remote clinicalassessments and review cognitive testing data, clinical histories, andcaregiver interviews to support accurate diagnosis
- Provide consultative inputon complex or unclear dementia cases and collaborate on treatment planning
- Document findings anddiagnoses per current documentation, billing, and coding standards
- Adhere to evidence-basedclinical guidelines in evaluating and diagnosing cognitive disorders
- Collaborate with ARNPs, MDs,and care teams to enhance dementia-related care and care planning
- Participate ininterdisciplinary case reviews as needed to support holistic, person-centeredcare
Requirements :
MD or DO with BoardCertification in NeurologySubspecialty experience indementia, cognitive neurology, or behavioral neurology strongly preferredMinimum of 5 years ofclinical experience, including dementia diagnosis and managementUnrestricted Texas medicallicenseExperience with telemedicineplatforms and remote patient assessmentStrong written and verbalcommunication skillsComfort working bothindependently and within virtual care teamsPrior experience invalue-based care, risk-sharing, or managed care environments preferredThis is a unique opportunityto practice at the forefront of virtual care while improving outcomes for olderadults with cognitive disorders.
