JOB SUMMARY

Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements in a safe manufacturing environment with limited guidance. This role involves assisting in the teardown of high-horsepower diesel engines by rotating through tasks such as disassembly of engines, cleaning of components, and inspection of parts to prepare them for the next stage in production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate machines and equipment according to established safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Assist in engine teardown, cleaning, inspection, and preparation of components for further production stages.
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, policies, and regulations; immediately report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions.
• Use and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform quality inspections, identify non-conforming materials, and follow standard work and quality processes (SPC, poka-yoke, visual standards).
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including operator care and routine maintenance tasks.
• Work at required cycle times or defined engineering standards to achieve production goals.
• Collaborate with peers, trades, and support staff to identify equipment in need of repair.
• Communicate effectively with team members and complete required training and development.
• Actively participate in process improvements related to safety, quality, and material flow.
