Facilities Building Manager

We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and highly motivated facilities professional to join our team as a Facilities Building Manager.
Description
The Facilities Building Manager provides a central resource to building occupant groups for facilities services and support. Collaborates with San Diego Services team and corporate partners, including; Space Planning, Shipping, Receiving and Mail, Reprographics, Print Program, Ergonomics, Recycling, AVCN, Global Security Operations, Events and Conferences, Reception Services, Wellness, Commute, and Operations and Maintenance. This position is required to be on-site Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
The Facilities Building Manager will assist with the oversight of multiple facilities across San Diego's campus. Overall responsibility for overseeing the implementation of policies, procedures, and programs that will assure well-managed and maintained buildings. Manages and maintains physical work environment; including office furniture / layout, common and amenity area fixture and equipment, so there is consistency across all sites. Work side-by-side with Places partners, such as : Project Management and Environmental Health and Safety. Advocate customer needs internally to continuously improve the customer experience through the enhancements to service deliveries and related processes. Manages major relocations of people and their peripherals, including reconfigurations, new building construction, and internal building shuffles. Continuously evaluate and identify innovative ways to streamline processes and elevate department brand. Ensure questions, concerns and suggestions are addressed in a timely manner. Communicate to occupants regarding events, outages, closures, construction, and other building impacts. Familiarization with tools such as Integrated Workplace Management Solutions, service request management, MacOS and iOS productivity tools. Carryout and maintain ownership of building audits and reporting, to help assure high quality work environments. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and facilitate non-construction required spaces adds and changes. Maintain relationships and communication with key internal customers and external contacts, including Landlords. Engage business units and internal parties to assure space data and deliverables are maintained up to date.
Minimum Qualifications
3 years experience related to workplace management, facilities services, and customer service Working knowledge and familiarity with Facilities Services, basic building functions, and Operations priorities.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $99,100 and $149,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
