Schedule : Part Time – 10 hours / pay period (20 hours / month) – Monday to Friday – 8 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.

Location : Fully Remote (must be located in Minnesota, Wisconsin, or North Dakota)

As a Social Worker (MSW), you are responsible for providing monthly regulatory supervisions to hospice LSWs in compliance with Medicare’s Conditions of Participation (CoPs). This role ensures accuracy in documentation, alignment with Plans of Care, and professional growth for social workers in the field. Through meaningful check-ins, case reviews, and mentoring, this position supports consistent, high-quality hospice social work across Vivie.

As a Social Worker (MSW), you will :

  • Regulatory Supervision – Provide monthly supervisions to hospice LSWs, maintaining documentation in the organization’s system and ensuring full compliance with CoPs.
  • Case & Caseload Review – Review patient cases, workload balance, and charting accuracy to confirm alignment with Plans of Care and hospice regulations.
  • Mentorship & Professional Development – Guide LSWs in addressing barriers, ethical considerations, and best practices, while supporting skills development and confidence.
  • Collaboration & Quality Improvement – Partner with the Director of Hospice to identify trends, training needs, and opportunities for continuous quality improvement.
  • Other Duties as Assigned – The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

This job also requires :

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • Current social work licensure in the state of practice.
  • Hospice or palliative care experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Medicare hospice Conditions of Participation (CoPs).
  • Experience in supervision or mentoring is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Physical capability to perform all essential functions.
  • Ability to pass state mandated background checks.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with team members, clients, and families.
