Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to urgent care Perform common procedures such as laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, and wound care Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe appropriate medications and provide patient education Document encounters accurately in the EMR Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient operations and patient satisfaction Schedule Full-time (3 x 12-hour shifts per week) Rotating weekends No on-call requirements Pay range and compensation package Hourly pay : $55–$75 / hour (≈ $103K–$140K / year), depending on experience and clinic location.
