Financial Aid Specialist

A company is looking for a Financial Aid Specialist I to support the administration of financial aid programs.

Key Responsibilities

Process financial aid in compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations

Review and evaluate student files for eligibility of various financial aid programs

Troubleshoot processing issues and communicate with Student Finance Counselors to resolve discrepancies

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience

Experience in a processing or financial aid environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Successful access to the National Student Loan Data System and good standing with federal student loans

Experience with Banner software is preferred
