Overview
Inova IT Clinical Applications is looking for a dedicated Sr. Epic Certified Tech Specialist - Clinical Decision Support to join the Team. This remote role will be full-time day shift working Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities
- Implements and maintains evidence based research and technical practice for assigned Electronic Health Record (EHR) applications.
- Consistently incorporates a multidisciplinary / cross functional approach to enhance technical outcomes for assigned applications.
- Ensures analysis of all technical builds and determines how they will impact workflow.
- Leads efforts to improve outcomes through education and implementation of research based processes.
- Initiates issue resolution while escalating and communicating status to manager / director on a daily basis.
- Manages complex Information Systems projects / products in order to provide automated solutions that meet Inova Health System's business needs using the EHR.
- Communicates project and team status to internal / external audiences including the operations teams, steering committees, executive sponsors and project principals.
- Implements and maintains EHR systems and database to ensure optimum performance that leads to exceptional outcomes for team members and patients.
