NAVAIR Software Engineer / Developer

Overview :

JHNA is currently seeking a talented Software Engineer / Developer to support our NAVAIR government customer in Patuxent River, MD. This position will require on-site / in person support.

Roles / Responsibilities :

• Monitor research, analysis, design, development, test, or manufacturing operations.
• Provide direct systems engineering / scientific support to and advise on engineering requirements, technical issues, and risks related to software development.
• Provide technical oversight and support strategic software planning.
• Review data, reports, studies, designs, design documentation, tests, or equipment to determine conformance with contract technical requirements.
• Conduct technical reviews to determine the acceptability of changes to contract required services or equipment and / or determines the usability of items not meeting the requirements of the contract.
• Serve as a hardware / software technical interface to Computer Scientist / engineering community on related software engineering activities and issues.
• Provide real-time access to SMEs for problem assessment and resolution.
• Provide software engineering technical support and representation
• Provide concurrence, if applicable, on contractor proposed changes to processes and Software (SW) development plans.

Desired Qualifications :

JHNA is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employees. The salary range for this position is $90,000- $125,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
