About the position : As a Laboratory Aide, you will assist with the general needs of the lab in preparing histologic slides from tissue sections for microscopic examination and diagnosis by pathologists. Work is performed in accordance with standard laboratory practice under limited supervision.

What you'll do :

• Assist in receiving and accessioning
• Assist in daily operation of IF, Light and EM
• Perform prep work for the following day
• Set up, clean and maintain laboratory and equipment
• Organize slides per case and per Pathologist using folders, trays etc. for delivery
• Deliver slides to Pathologists in an accurate and timely manner
• Assist in maintaining Inventory management
• Other duties as assigned

You should have :

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience : One to two years of related experience and / or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Computer Skills : Proficient in MS Word and some MS Excel experience

Full-Time Schedule : Monday-Friday 5 : 30am-2 : 30pm
