Job Title : Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Med / Surg RN)

Location : Sterling, Illinois

Shift : 12-Hour Night Shifts

Hours per Week : 36

License : Current and valid RN License in Illinois

Certifications : BLS and ACLS required.

Experience : Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg experience preferred.

Schedule : Must be flexible to fill gaps in the schedule; no blocked scheduling .

Skills : Strong clinical judgment, communication, and time-management abilities.

Key Responsibilities : Deliver direct and individualized patient care in the Medical-Surgical unit.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for assigned patients.

Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.

Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and progress.

Administer medications and perform procedures as per physician orders.

Educate patients and families on treatments, procedures, and discharge care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation following hospital policies and standards.
