Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed, detail-oriented Account Manager / Customer Service Representative to join our commercial insurance team. This role combines account management responsibilities with customer service excellence, requiring strong communication skills, insurance knowledge, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Manage and service existing commercial insurance accounts
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals
- Review and analyze insurance coverage to ensure adequate protection
- Prepare and present renewal proposals to clients
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Cross-sell additional insurance products and services
- Conduct policy reviews and risk assessments
- Customer Service
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts
- Handle client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
- Assist clients with claims reporting and follow-up
- Provide exceptional customer service to maintain client satisfaction
- Resolve client concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
- Educate clients on insurance coverage and policy terms
Administrative Duties
Prepare insurance applications and related documentationMaintain agency management system and client filesGenerate reports and certificates of insuranceProcess invoices and collect premiumsCoordinate with insurance carriers and underwritersSupport marketing efforts and new business developmentRequirements
Required Qualifications
Valid Property & Casualty insurance license in Minnesota (REQUIRED)Minimum 2-3 years of Property & Casualty insurance experienceStrong knowledge of P&C insurance products and coveragesProficiency in insurance agency management systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesCustomer service oriented with professional demeanorProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related fieldAdditional insurance designations (CIC, CISR, etc.)Experience with Applied Epic or similar agency management systemsCommercial lines insurance knowledgePrevious account management or sales experience
