With a growing book of business and a strong focus on client care, we're looking for an experienced, licensed Account Manager / CSR to join our team.

Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed, detail-oriented Account Manager / Customer Service Representative to join our commercial insurance team. This role combines account management responsibilities with customer service excellence, requiring strong communication skills, insurance knowledge, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Manage and service existing commercial insurance accounts
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals
  • Review and analyze insurance coverage to ensure adequate protection
  • Prepare and present renewal proposals to clients
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation
  • Cross-sell additional insurance products and services
  • Conduct policy reviews and risk assessments
  • Customer Service
  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Handle client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
  • Assist clients with claims reporting and follow-up
  • Provide exceptional customer service to maintain client satisfaction
  • Resolve client concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Educate clients on insurance coverage and policy terms

Administrative Duties

  • Prepare insurance applications and related documentation
  • Maintain agency management system and client files
  • Generate reports and certificates of insurance
  • Process invoices and collect premiums
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers and underwriters
  • Support marketing efforts and new business development
  • Requirements

    Required Qualifications

  • Valid Property & Casualty insurance license in Minnesota (REQUIRED)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of Property & Casualty insurance experience
  • Strong knowledge of P&C insurance products and coverages
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Customer service oriented with professional demeanor
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Additional insurance designations (CIC, CISR, etc.)
  • Experience with Applied Epic or similar agency management systems
  • Commercial lines insurance knowledge
  • Previous account management or sales experience
