Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA standards, and NETA certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Internet research, and computer-controlled test equipment. Strong understanding of electrical power systems and switchgear testing. Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills. Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Willingness to travel (50%) and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available). Overview
Position Summary : Lead and perform troubleshooting, testing, and inspection of electrical apparatus and power distribution systems. Some technical supervision required.
Responsibilities
- Test and maintain low and medium voltage switchgear systems (up to 15 kV).
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, calibrate simple relays, and use load recording instruments.
- Conduct short circuit and protective device coordination studies.
- Prepare detailed project reports and manage job billing.
- Develop accurate job proposals, cost estimates, and scopes of work.
- Support business development and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.

BSEE / BSME (entry level), or
