About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Experience : Minimum 1 year required, 2 years preferred

License : Valid Michigan RN License

Certifications : BLS (AHA) (pending accepted)

Must-Have :

• Must be willing to work with a variety of staff (i.e., RN, LPN, Techs, etc.)
• Must float to other Med Surg units as needed
• Must work every other weekend

Description :

No requests for time off for the first 8 days of assignment.

Holiday time off requests are not guaranteed and may be discussed with the manager based on unit needs.

Staffing ratios are 1 : 5-6 for nights.

Ratios may flex to 8 patients but the RN will be paired with an LPN for support in those instances.

There is a variety of staff working on this unit and other Med / Surg units.

Floating typically occurs once per week based on need.

All staff must be willing to work with a diverse range of patients.

Patient mix includes medical, ortho / neurovascular, cardio / pulmonary, and surgical cases.

Daily tasks will include patient care, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Applicants should possess the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and maintain high-quality patient care standards.
