Join an exceptional OB / GYN Hospitalist team in beautiful Palm Springs, CA — a place where most people dream of vacationing! We’re seeking a motivated Board Certified or Board Eligible OB / GYN Hospitalist to provide outstanding care in a collaborative, supportive environment.

📍 Location

Palm Springs, CA, 45701

Position Details :

Full-time : Approximately 7.5 (24-hour) in-house shifts / month (~2190 hours annually)

Part-time considered : Minimum approximately 5.5 (24-hour) shifts / month (~1560 hours annually), still benefit eligible

Always staffed with 2 OB Hospitalists in-house 24 / 7 — never on shift alone! 👥

Responsibilities include delivery attendance, OB triage, patient evaluation / management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring, and ER coverage

Maternal-fetal medicine performs rounds and inpatient consults for high-risk patients

Attend ~60 deliveries per month

Level III NICU caring for newborns 23 weeks and above

Affiliated maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology support

Tertiary acute care facility with Level I Trauma Center designation

Teaching opportunities with fellows, residents, and medical students 🎓

Requirements :

Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified OB / GYN – ✅

California medical license (or willing to obtain) –  ✅

OB Hospitalist experience preferred ⭐

DEA license required prior to start – ✅

Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the immediate local area

No locum or visa candidates accepted

Compensation & Benefits :

💰 $150 / hour (~$328,500 annually for full-time) plus bonus potential
