This regional health center provides comprehensive medical services to patients in southeastern Iowa. The facility offers modern surgical facilities with dedicated support staff and a collaborative team environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Opportunity : General Surgery

Job Details :

• Coverage needed for September 30th, 2025 and ongoing
• Approximately 2 clinic days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 : 30am-4pm)
• Potential for additional clinic days based on patient volume needs
• 10 days of 24-hour call coverage
• Required general surgery skills include adult procedures (no pediatric, neonate, or trauma)
• Must be proficient in laparoscopic procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication
• Required to perform GI endoscopy (upper and lower including colonoscopy)
• Preferred skills include head / neck surgery (including thyroid), chest wall / pleural procedures, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, PA catheter placement, and vascular surgery
• Active Iowa license required

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
