About The Position

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of relevant OR experience preferred.

License : Required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS

Must-Have :

• Strongly prefer seasoned travelers with well-rounded experience.
• Experience in general surgery, orthopedic totals, ENT, urology, gynecology, C-sections, and podiatry.
• Scrubbing experience is a plus.

Description :

The department consists of 4 suites plus 2 minor procedure rooms and an OB C-section room.

The average number of cases per day ranges from 15 to 20.

Call requirements include one weeknight call per week.

Weekend call is 24 hours on Friday night, with Saturday and Sunday every 5th weekend.

On-call coverage is also required for holidays.

The typical call response time is 20 minutes.

The charting system used is Meditech.

Department-specific orientation will take 1 to 2 weeks with a preceptor.
