Description : Memory Care Manager
Grand Villa of Sarasota is seeking a dedicated and experienced Memory Care Manager to lead our dementia care program at our Assisted Living facility. Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of memory care services for residents with dementia
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
- Supervise and support staff to ensure high-quality, compassionate care
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including licensing requirements
- Maintain detailed documentation of resident care and facility operations
- Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for residents and staff
- Provide training and ongoing education to staff on best practices in memory care
- Communicate effectively with residents’ families and healthcare providers
Skills and Qualifications :
Valid Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licenseMinimum of 1 year experience in a management role within Assisted Living, with an emphasis on memory careStrong understanding of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease care practicesExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesCompassionate, patient, and dedicated to senior careAbility to work collaboratively with a diverse teamGrand Villa of Sarasota offers a warm, welcoming culture that values growth, compassion, and excellence.
