About The Role
As a Production Culinary Associate , you are responsible for masterfully piecing together our irresistible, colorful, and perfectly balanced meal kits for the menus served at our restaurants. This role will have a focus on precision and waste reduction.

Responsibilities
Prepare meal kits, with an eye for detail, for all types of dishes and cuisines according to standardized recipes and established guidelinesPrecisely measure and inspect ingredients and finished products to ensure quality standards are metOperate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficientlyMonitor inventory and use First In, First Out (FIFO) principles to maintain freshness and prevent waste, promptly communicating when supplies need to be replenishedPackage and label food items and non-food accurately with required informationUphold sanitation and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen area, tools, and storage spaces, following food safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocolsCross train within various tasksSupport training initiativesComplete other duties as assignedQualifications
6+ months of experience in food manufacturing production working in a high volume and high standards environment (commissary, hotel, restaurant or high-end foodservice establishment)6+ months of experience using technology such as smart phones and tablets, inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting informationFood Safety and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) guideline knowledge including proper protein food safety temperatures and "danger zone" food temperaturesProficient in food product identification, and assembly processSelf-directed and self-motivated with ability to follow directions and assembly specs with minimal supervisionProficient in safely operating standard food manufacturing equipmentAccurate use of measuring tools (scales, thermometers, calipers) and comfort with metric systems and kitchen techFamiliarity with FIFO and basic inventory proceduresAbility to work effectively in team environmentsServSafe food handling certificate or equivalent desiredRequirements
