Security Professional - Armed Patrol

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in Gulfport, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a healthcare location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain your assigned equipment in accordance with all applicable regulations. You will interact with staff, visitors, and patients, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 01 : 00 PM - 08 : 00 PM

Wed 01 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or breaches of protocol.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and / or irregularities observed during patrols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
  • Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client-specific instructions while performing armed patrol duties.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Must possess an armed guard card or license as required by state and / or local laws and regulations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
