Job Summary
The UC Davis Health School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated and innovative Labor and Delivery Hospitalist to join the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology in the division of University Women's Health (UWH). UC Davis delivers approximately two thousand babies a year, has a level III NICU, and serves a high-risk obstetric population.
The division of UWH has full-time and part-time Labor and Delivery Hospitalist opportunities, and offers a twelve-hour shift.
Our Labor and Delivery Hospitalist will also hold an academic without salary position. This position offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while contributing to the education and development of future healthcare professionals in an academic setting.

This position is primarily based at a UC Davis Health School of Medicine (UCDH) clinic, applicants must have the flexibility to provide coverage at other affiliated clinics as needed. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is a School of Medicine academic / clinical department of approximately 40 faculty members, 11 Volunteer Clinical Professors, 4 Staff Physicians, 9 Fellows, 30 Residents and approximately 76 staff members.
