Description : Position Summary

The Clinical Director serves as a vital member of SFRC’s extended leadership team and is responsible for ensuring clinical integrity, operational alignment, and regulatory readiness across the organization’s residential, outpatient, and specialty care programs. Reporting to the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), the Clinical Director provides day-to-day oversight of clinical documentation, cross-functional clinical staffing, and supervisory infrastructure while supporting a culture of trauma-informed, evidence-based, and recovery-centered care.

This position ensures that SFRC’s clinical services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance—partnering with CQI, HR, and operational teams to uphold licensure, accreditation, and payer documentation requirements. The Clinical Director models SFRC’s values in action, leads with compassion and accountability, and helps anchor clinical excellence across a dynamic and mission-driven behavioral health organization.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership & Supervision

• Lead the implementation of high-quality clinical practices that reflect trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care models.
• Provide direct supervision to clinical supervisors and support their professional growth, documentation accuracy, and team cohesion.
• In partnership with the CCO, serve as a clinical thought partner—co-shaping treatment models, therapeutic modalities, and care coordination strategies across SFRC’s continuum.
