Lead HVAC Service Tech

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and experience in service technician roles. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will work closely with clients to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.

• Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service while communicating effectively with clients regarding system performance and maintenance needs.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations.
• Collaborate with other technicians on larger projects to ensure timely completion of work.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, equipment repairs, and inventory used.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Requirements
• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in HVAC design, plumbing, refrigeration, and appliance repair.
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems.
• Experience in construction or property maintenance is preferred.
• Proficient in equipment repair techniques including welding when necessary.
• Valid driver's license required for travel between job sites.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours : 40 - 50 per week
