Accountant Intern

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Financial Shared Services organization supporting a variety of General Accounting functions.

Role and Responsibilities :

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with intercompany transactions and foreign currency reconciliation.
• Load and reconcile data in SAP S4 and FDMEE / Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
• Conduct accounting research and draft technical position papers.
• Provide audit support and respond to ad-hoc data requests.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statement analytics and management reports.
• Act as primary contact for assigned sectors, ensuring effective communication.
• Participate in special projects and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Intern Pay Range :

Bachelor's : $16.50 to $30.00 per hour

Master's : $24.00 to $37.75 per hour
