We are hiring for a PRN Nocturnist . A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.​

Local Team Collaboration :

  • We take pride in our well-established team of 28 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers at SSM DePaul.
  • Work alongside highly trained specialists across the continuum of specialties.
  • Closed ICU
  • No procedures
  • Can be cross-credentialed and eligible to pick up shifts at our Lake St. Louis and St. Charles hospitals.

Qualifications :

  • Board-certified / eligible in family medicine or internal medicine.
  • All levels of experience considered. New graduates, residents, and fellows are welcome to apply.

    • Practice in the Heart of the Community

    Scheduling :

  • Nocturnist hours are 7 pm-7 am.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Nocturnists will collaborate with an advanced practice provider throughout the night to manage admissions, cross-coverage calls, and Rapid Responses.
  • Our team does not respond to Code Blue or admit or treat patients in the ICU

  • Bridgeton is a suburb of Greater St. Louis, located a short, 25-minute commute to downtown St. Louis. Named the “20-minute city” for little traffic and easy commute, St. Louis is best known for the Gateway Arch, built in the 1960s, honoring westward expansion.
