Consulting Associate

The primary purpose of this role is to aid financial advisors in navigating and applying the most relevant products & services offerings to specific client situations. Consulting Associates must demonstrate a high level of product knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail. Specific platforms and products covered are LPL's suite of advisory solutions (SAM / SWM, MWP, OMP, GWP, PWP, and Manager Select), as well as individual products such as Mutual Funds, SMA's, ETFs, and Alternative Investments.
Responsibilities include educating and guiding advisors on LPL's advisory platforms and investment options, consulting on specific client scenarios, providing suitable solutions, collaborating with key stakeholders, and committing to helping advisors grow their practices. A variety of basic investment product knowledge and a hunger to become a deep subject matter expert are also required. An understanding of the financial services industry and a willingness to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-driven environment are essential.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related areas, FINRA Series 7 and 63 / 65 or 66, or ability to get licensed within the first 6 months, and must be in office 2 days a week.

The pay range is $22.79-$37.98 / hour. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
