Concrete Form Setter Job Description

Job Summary : A Concrete Form Setter is a skilled construction worker responsible for constructing, assembling, and disassembling forms that hold concrete in place while it cures. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of construction blueprints and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Form Construction : Cut, shape, and assemble formwork components using various hand and power tools. Construct forms for foundations, walls, columns, slabs, and other concrete elements.
• Form Placement : Position and align forms according to blueprints and specifications. Secure forms using ties, braces, and other fastening devices. Ensure proper alignment, level, and plumb of forms.
• Concrete Pouring : Assist in the pouring of concrete into the forms. Monitor the concrete placement process to ensure proper fill and vibration.
• Form Removal : Carefully remove forms after the concrete has cured, taking care not to damage the structure. Clean and maintain formwork for reuse.
