Description :

The Purchasing Buyer is responsible assist the Material Team with assigned projects, issuing and evaluating RFQs, commercial issues and negotiation, cost reduction opportunities and overall supplier management such as supply and delivery issues. Preference for candidates who are bi-lingual in Korean.

Reporting Relationship : Reports to the Materials Manager.

Essential Duties : [Purchasing]

• Establishes new car sourcing plan and leads sourcing events.
• Reviews legal documentations such as RFQs, LOIs, Term and conditions and develops such documentations according to Mobis Policy and make contracts with suppliers.
• Review and analyze and clarify quote packages from suppliers.
• Create detailed price breakdown for each product and process in system for approval.
• Reviews legal documentations such as RFQs, LOIs, term and conditions and develops such documentations according to MOBIS Policy.
• Research potential suppliers and find, develop, coordinate suppliers, as necessary.
• Conducts cost analysis for parts, tooling, and any supplier expenses and negotiates price with suppliers.
• Process payments of direct and indirect material.
• Logistics Management, including shipment quoting, tracking and payment.
• Review Tariff impacts and provide detailed reporting.
