This role is part of the Blue Origin's New Shepard program, focusing on operating and supporting the launch of reusable suborbital rockets designed to take astronauts and research payloads past the Karman line.
Responsibilities include :
- Develop proficiency in operating mechanical, fluid, and avionics systems, and complete certification as a Booster Controller.
- Serve as a flight controller on launch day, leading tasks such as propellant loading.
- Respond to off-nominal scenarios to ensure safety and anomaly resolution.
- Support vehicle testing, pre-launch preparations, and system safety activities.
- Develop and support procedure updates and system upgrades.
Qualifications :
B.S. in engineering or relevant experience.At least 3 years' experience as an operator or flight controller.Experience with complex vehicle preparations and technical hands-on work.Strong system understanding, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety.Preferred :
