This role has full ownership of high-impact initiatives, operates with self-initiative, manages multiple stakeholders, and resolves complex challenges. You will shape product and marketing strategies through deep insights and cross-functional alignment, delivering results at a functional level.
What Youll Do
Lead Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution : Own the strategy and end-to-end execution. Navigate moderate-to-high ambiguity with minimal input. Use customer research, competitive intelligence, and market trends to inform strategy, execution and prioritization.
Drive Effective Communications Strategy : Build consumer-facing communications that inform product and partner execution. Test, track and optimize communications to inform future executions. Influence decision-making through customer and merchant partner insights.
Operate with Agility and Drive Execution : Manage multiple high-priority initiatives, anticipate risks, and maintain momentum through thoughtful planning. Evaluate trade-offs to balance short-term impact and long-term value.
Use Data to Inform Execution : Advocate for customer pain points and opportunities at key decision forums. Develop frameworks for how teams use customer data to drive actionable decisions. Translate business goals into actionable product marketing and go-to-market initiatives.
Leverage Business and Product Acumen : Understand the Affirm ecosystem and the revenue / cost drivers that impact marketing and product performance. Own success metrics for your partnership-focused area, aligning with business objectives.
Collaborate Across Teams to Drive Alignment : Build strong relationships across Partner, Merchant, Product, Sales, Customer Success, Analytics, and other key teams. Proactively identify and mitigate risks from shifting priorities or unclear requirements.
Be a Culture Carrier : Champion Affirms values and culture, fostering collaboration, transparency, and innovation. Lead by example in creating an inclusive, growth-oriented environment.
What Were Looking For
5-7 years of experience in product marketing or a similar role, ideally in Payments or Fintech.
Proven track record of leading partnership strategy and communication alongside product launches and GTM initiatives that drive results.
Highly analytical mindset with ability to extract insights from data to influence marketing strategies and product performance.
Strong cross-functional leadership with ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships and drive alignment.
Experience navigating ambiguity and driving alignment in fast-paced environments.
Proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
Champions innovation and shares learnings with the team.
Excellent communicator and storyteller, capable of simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences.
Experience collaborating with in-house designers and content developers to ensure cohesive design and copy across touchpoints.
Campaign development leadership with ability to pull insights from data and build multi-touchpoint campaigns.

Base pay ranges and equity details are provided in the job posting. Affirm is remote-first; most roles are remote and can be worked from anywhere within the country of employment. Some roles may require occasional office work.
