About The Position We are seeking a Pediatric Hospital Medicine specialist for a 35-day locum tenens assignment in West Virginia beginning Nov 24, 2025. This opportunity involves 24-hour shifts in a nursery setting, with in-house coverage from 7 am to 7 pm and call coverage from 7 pm to 7 am. The provider will care for both pediatric and newborn patients and must be comfortable with advanced neonatal and pediatric procedures. Job Details Location : West Virginia Start Date : Nov 24, 2025 LOA : 35 days Provider Type Needed : Pediatric Hospital Medicine Schedule : 7 am - 7 am shifts; in-house 7 am - 7 pm, call 7 pm - 7 am; average of 8 - 10 hours worked during each 24-hour call shift Responsibilities and Duties Provide care for 4–5 pediatric patients and 3–4 newborn patients daily Manage patients in a nursery setting Attend C-sections and respond to ER consults Perform advanced neonatal and pediatric procedures, including intubation of umbilical lines Participate in all required aspects of pediatric hospital medicine Additional Information Must be licensed to practice in West Virginia Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required Board certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine required Experience with intubating umbilical lines is essential Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
