Role Overview

The Wholesale Manager will be responsible for leading our wholesale channel end-to-end. This role will own everything from building the program framework, pricing models, and operational processes, to cultivating and managing retail partnerships. This is a rare opportunity to be the architect of a brand-new revenue stream at a fast-growing, consumer-loved brand.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Program Development

Build SET Active's wholesale strategy and roadmap, aligned with overall brand and business goals.

  • Define program structures, pricing models, order minimums, margin expectations, and distribution guidelines.
  • Develop wholesale-specific policies, playbooks, and account management processes.
  • Business Development & Partnerships
  • Identify, pitch, and secure partnerships with retailers (from specialty boutiques to major accounts).

  • Own relationship management, from initial outreach to ongoing partnership growth.
  • Negotiate terms, contracts, and promotional opportunities to maximize profitability and brand alignment.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Collaborate with planning, production, and logistics to ensure seamless order fulfillment and inventory management.

  • Oversee wholesale order processes, timelines, and account communication.
  • Build reporting tools to track wholesale sales, profitability, and partner performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with brand, marketing, and product teams to align wholesale initiatives with product launches and campaigns.

  • Ensure wholesale strategy supports - and never dilutes - our DTC-first brand experience.
  • Qualifications

  • 5+ years of wholesale, sales, or distribution experience in apparel, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling wholesale programs, ideally from early stage.
  • Strong network and established relationships with key retail buyers is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of wholesale pricing structures, retail math, and margins.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - able to build systems and processes from scratch while executing day-to-day.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment .
