About The Position

Primary Care Opportunity in Charlotte, North Carolina

Join a respected private practice rooted in patient-first care and poised for growth in the heart of South Charlotte. This position offers the opportunity to step into a well-established panel, supported by a cohesive team, with room for long-term leadership. Whether you're drawn to traditional primary care or have an interest in concierge-style medicine, this practice balances autonomy, support, and work-life predictability.

Practice Overview

  • You'll join a physician-led team with 1 MD, 2 PAs, 1 NP, 3 MAs, 1 LPN, and full ancillary support
  • 10 exam rooms in a modern, free-standing clinic designed for efficient, collaborative care
  • Patient volume averages 16 per day with in-house lab and built-in documentation time
  • Supportive, collegial team environment with light call shared at 1 : 2 weekdays and 1 : 5 weekends

Schedule

  • Clinic hours : Monday-Thursday 7 : 00am-4 : 30pm; Friday 7 : 00am-10 : 45am
  • Built-in catch-up time : 11 : 30am-1 : 30pm daily, plus 4 : 00-5 : 00pm
  • No inpatient work; outpatient only with rare after-hours needs
  • Extremely light call burden, typically under 15 total calls in a full week
  • Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary of $250,000 with potential increase to $275,000 depending on experience
  • Value-based bonus model adds $20K-$30K after 12-18 months
  • $25K sign-on bonus, up to $10K relocation, 4 weeks PTO + 7 paid holidays
  • CME stipend, malpractice with tail, fully covered premiums, and 401(k) with 2% match
  • Candidate Requirements

  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Minimum of 10 years post-training preferred
  • Strong fit for candidates comfortable collaborating with mid-levels
  • Interest or experience in obesity medicine is a plus
