WCS is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a prestigious hospital located in New Hyde Park, New York.

Job Function :

Day Shift.

4x10 : 7 : 30am - 5pm.

Performs mammogram imaging procedures.

Demonstrates competency in mammography positioning, compression & technique factor.

Ensure all radiographic images are appropriately labeled as specified by the department SOP.

Evaluate images for technical acceptability and ensure images are transmitted to PACS in a timely fashion.

Job Requirements :

2 years of experience as a Mammography Technician.

Must hold AART Certification.

Current New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography.

Spanish-speaking candidates strongly preferred.

Must comply with MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) requirements.

Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.
