The Facilities Maintenance Technician II repairs, installs, and removes equipment at company facilities and will travel daily between company facilities on the assigned campus.

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician ll, you will be responsible for :

• Provide facilities maintenance support such as plumbing, carpentry, door hardware, office furniture assemblies, minor electrical, minor fabrication, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) troubleshooting Provide solutions and operate independently on jobs that are assigned Advise and research repair methods with team members Enter work order comments and timecards Ability to thoroughly diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of facilities maintenance  issues (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, structural and plumbing) To be considered as a Facilities Maintenance Technician ll, you will need : High school diploma or equivalent level of education 3 years of general maintenance experience or equivalent military experience Valid Driver's License and clean driving record  Machine repair and troubleshooting experience Able to solve practical problems and diagnose basic plumbing, electrical and equipment malfunctions (such as a tire machine or vehicle hoist) Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measurement, including fractions Reliable transportation to travel between buildings Skilled in the use of power and hand tools Basic power and hand tools required, with tool list to be provided upon hire Basic computer skills and good communication skills Valid Drivers License and clean driving record Good verbal and written communication skills A successful candidate may also have : HVAC troubleshooting experience Skilled in the use of a forklift and scissor lift Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends If you share our passion for providing innovative solutions to complex challenges, we want you on our team.
