Location : Salisbury, Maryland (21801) – Eastern Shore healthcare jobs

Setting : Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) – Cardiac Stepdown

Employment Type : Travel Nursing

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025, End : 2 / 2 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour night shifts

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed (orientation weeks may vary)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,880 - $2,020 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or Compact State

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Intermediate Care (IMC) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

Provide continuous cardiac and respiratory monitoring for high-acuity patients

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

Rapidly respond to changes in patient hemodynamics or respiratory status

Care for patients with sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, post open-heart procedures, and those requiring BiPAP / CPAP

Serve as a patient advocate and educator for patients and families

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a dynamic clinical environment
