Position Title : Controller Location : Delafield, Wisconsin (Hybrid / On-site)

Position Overview

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Delafield, Wisconsin. The Controller will serve as the company's senior accounting and financial operations leader, responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and sound fiscal management in a dynamic AI technology startup environment. This role will partner closely with the executive team to provide timely insights that drive strategic decisions, maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, and support the company's rapid growth. The ideal candidate is both hands-on and strategic, thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, payroll, and monthly close processes.
• Prepare, analyze, and present accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports to leadership.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Manage the company's banking relationships, cash management, and financing activities.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations and filings.
• Partner with leadership to model and analyze financial scenarios to support strategic decisions.
• Lead and oversee annual audits and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting, and processes to support scalability.
