We are a site work civil contractor specializing in dirt work and site utilities in the greater Southeast area. We handle small to large and difficult projects. Due to demand and growth for our services, we are looking to add a Senior Civil Estimator to the team!

This is NOT a (remote) or (hybrid) position. Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil and industrial construction projects, including site work, earthwork, underground utility, private, and multifamily projects
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Research and source materials and labor costs
  • Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines
  • Continuously monitor project progress and update estimates as needed
  • Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure compliance with project specifications

What You Need for this Position

  • No less than 10 years of experience estimating dirt work and underground utilities - water, sanitary sewer, and storm on private and industrial projects
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)
  • Experience with dirt work and / or wet utilities
  • Knowledge of Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
  • Familiarity with estimating software : HCSS, Heavy Bid, Agtek, Excel
  • Project fiscal responsibility
  • Strong oversight abilities
