ER RN Job Details - Arizona Nursing Jobs Location : Yuma, Arizona (zip 85364) Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Healthcare Setting : Acute Care, Emergency Room Shift : 12-hour evening shifts (12p-12a) Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 10 / 2025 - End : 1 / 9 / 2026) Open Positions : 2 ER RN jobs Charting System : EPIC EMR Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990 - $2130 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Arizona or compact state) Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience in a Trauma Level I or II hospital (within the past 3 years) Proficiency with EPIC EMR system Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS TNCC certification preferred Ability to read and interpret telemetry independently Willingness to float to Foothills freestanding ER (15-minute drive) Availability for weekend and holiday shifts Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population (average 200 patients / day) Manage patient ratios : 1 : 5 for medical, 1 : 6 for fast track Respond to trauma, STEMI, and stroke cases; coordinate transfers for advanced interventions Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, ED techs, and respiratory therapists Perform and interpret telemetry; initiate and manage ICU drips for hold patients Participate in rapid triage and fast track processes Draw labs, start IVs, assist with EKGs, splints, and emergency procedures Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR Follow safety protocols and promote a positive patient experience Apply now to join our healthcare team in Yuma, Arizona and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
