Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver - Healthcare in Eden, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic healthcare location, where you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. In this role, you will be responsible for both driving and armed duties as you support a welcoming and secure environment for faculty, and visitors. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter, including educational buildings and grounds, to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Communicate and collaborate with local staff, students, and visitors to support a secure environment.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies and / or incidents as they arise at the location.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by site-specific guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including radios and, if applicable, firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as requested by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
