• \n1.\tUnit Name : Phippen 6 / 7.\n2.\tBrief Unit Description : 32 Bed Ortho / Neuro Med / Surg Unit. This is a private unit admitting all other medical overflow. \n3.\tCensus : 32 Total Beds. 16 beds in Phippen 6 & 16 beds in Phippen 7. \n4.\tFloating Required : Travelers are required to float to applicable units when requested.\n5.\tRotating Shifts Required : Day Rotators may be rotated between (7a-7p, 11a-11p or 7p-7a) shifts when needed. Night positions do not rotate. Rotation frequency : low.\n6.\tYears of Experience Required : Minimum 2 years experience.\n7.\tSkill Sets Required : Med / Surg RN with neuro assessment skills and telemetry competency; ability to interpret Tele Strips.\n8.\tClinician to Patient Ratio : Day and Eve shifts are 1 : 4, may go up to 5. Night shift is 1 : 5 or 6.\n9.\tPatient Population : Scheduled elective Orthopedic and Neuro / Surg patients, Fractures, Neuro patients and all other medical patients overflow. \n10.\tBed Count : 32 beds. \n11.\tEMR (Charting System) : EPIC.\n12.\tCertifications Required : Current Massachusetts RN License. BLS. (ACLS preferred).
