Summary :

As a Financial Services Representative, you will be the friendly face of our bank, creating a welcoming environment for our customers. Your key responsibilities will include :

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Assist customers in opening new accounts for both commercial and consumer clients, providing tailored recommendations based on their needs.
  • Perform all teller duties, including client transactions and maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve company objectives and personal goals.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, resolving inquiries and building long-term relationships.
  • Engage in training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Help with branch opening and closing procedures, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Strong math and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities, with a knack for cross-selling.
  • Commitment to confidentiality regarding client transactions and bank records.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in operating standard office equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of bank operations, products, and services.
  • Understanding of banking laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

  • Education and Experience :

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's degree in a business-related field or two years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a goal-oriented environment preferred.
  • Customer service experience is required.
  • Computer and Software Skills :

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, IBS, and Salesforce.
  • Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations :

  • Notary License as required by the branch.
