Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with at least 12 months of ICU experience and a VA or compact RN license for night shifts at a community hospital.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a community hospital
  • Night shift schedule : three 12-hour shifts per week from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Facility is drug and tobacco free; no smoking allowed on campus
  • Natural nail policy is enforced
  • All staff must comply with facility requirements before start, including fingerprinting if applicable
  • Holidays are not guaranteed off
  • RTO (time off) requests must be submitted in advance for consideration

  • Active VA or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 12 months ICU RN experience required
  • Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associates, or BSN accepted)
  • BSN preferred
  • Must not have been employed by VCU Health within the previous 12 months
