General Profile
Supervises the daily activities of support staff or production team members. Does not typically perform the work supervised
Must have any type of one direct report or more
Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors
Problem solving is guided by policies and procedures; receives guidance and oversight from manager
Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment
Essential Functions
Supervises a manufacturing production line that assembles fabricated parts
Creates daily work schedules, follows standard manufacturing procedures, and monitors work to meet product specifications and production targets
Resolves production problems and answers workers' questions about processes, methods, or equipment
Delivers training for new processes or equipment and onboard new employees
Conducts quality testing on completed assemblies to validate tolerances and product specifications
Reviews daily assembly production records to identify trends or potential performance issues
Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers
Required Qualifications
Required education and experience : Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & / or Experience
Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and / or computer for extended periods of time
Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities
May need to stand for long periods of time
Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential
Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and / or operate machinery
This position is Safety-Sensitive
Pay Range (USD) $82,852 - $153,868
The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
