We're looking for a proactive Operations & Estimating Lead to run point in the office. Someone who can take a roof inspection, turn it into a sharp bid, track margins, keep the schedule humming, and be the go-to for project operations. Operations & Estimating Role Includes :

$22–$35 per hour based on experience, with performance-based raises

In-person, office-based position in Ovid, NY (must live locally or be willing to relocate)

Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (some Saturdays during peak season)

Growth path into Project Manager or Director of Operations roles

Paid onboarding and training including estimating software (Housecall Pro), Conklin product knowledge, and our internal project systems

Access to team events like NASCAR racing, skydiving, deep-sea fishing, and exclusive leadership summits

What You'll Be Doing :

Bid Management : Create, track, and push out bids using Company Cam photos, inspection notes, and Housecall Pro.

Project Oversight : Coordinate job schedules, materials, crew flow, and logistics.

Margin Analysis : Keep your finger on the pulse of material costs, job profitability, and labor efficiencies.

Office Operations : Own the whiteboard, the CRM, and the calendar. Help support our field crews to deliver fast and clean.

You're reliable, organized, and can manage a full plate without letting anything slip. People know they can count on you, and you take pride in doing things right the first time. While you may not be swinging a hammer on the roof, you care just as much about making sure the crew has exactly what they need when they need it. You're the type who brings a calm energy and consistent follow-through to everything you touch.

What You Bring :

You've got a background in roofing, construction, estimating, or office operations-ideally with a commercial or residential contractor. You're confident around spreadsheets and can easily pick up systems like Housecall Pro, Company Cam, and Google Drive. You've managed multiple jobs or project timelines before, and you know how to keep moving parts from becoming chaos. You're just as comfortable on the phone with a vendor as you are crunching job margins in a spreadsheet.

Minimum Qualifications :

You have 2–5 years of experience in estimating, operations, or project coordination. You either live in or are willing to relocate to Ovid, NY, and you're ready to work in person at our office. You're tech-savvy enough to learn project tools and software quickly, and you're confident juggling multiple tasks with accuracy. Bonus points if you've worked in commercial roofing or construction before and understand the flow from inspection to estimate to job completion.
