Associate Attorney- Employment (Defense)

A sophisticated, results-driven law firm is seeking to add an Employment Attorney to their team. This firm has several offices in California with a flexible work schedule. The attorneys typically go into the office a couple of days a week for collaboration.  This is an employment defense position, but plaintiff candidates interested in switching sides will be considered. Requirements :

• 3+ years of experience in labor and employment experience
• Advising employers in hiring, employment contracts, compensation and discipline, termination matters
• Experience with union / management transactions, organizing campaigns grievance, arbitration and dispute resolution
• Have an enthusiastic positive approach and be a team player
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong writing and legal research skills, and a strong work ethic
• 1850 billable hour requirement
• CA License, in good standing
• Wage and Hour, PAGA experience preferred
• Experience forming, maintenance and termination of employment in collective bargaining agreements preferred

Benefits :

Compensation depends on level of experience and may be different than the pay range indicated here.
